Candler Field Museum is pleased to have several aviation partners that call Peach State Aerodrome home.
Barnstormer’s Workshop is a full-service aircraft maintenance facility offering quality restorations, repairs, and general aircraft maintenance. Barnstormer’s workshop buys and sells aircraft as well. Owner David Harwell is a third-generation aviation enthusiast who holds an A&P license, inspection authorization, and private pilot’s license. For more information, visit Barnstormer’s Workshop online.
The Candler Field Flying Club exists to offer affordable flight instruction to Candler Field Museum members as well as their families and friends. On occasion, the club offers glider flights at Peach State Aerodrome to the public for a nominal fee. Visit the Calendar to see if any upcoming glider flights are scheduled, or visit the Candler Field Flying Club page to learn more about this group of local aviators.
The High Flight Scholarship Program exists to support youth in the Candler Field Museum Youth Aviation Program on their pathway in becoming a private pilot or in their post education endeavors. If you would like more information on creating an endowment scholarship or you would like to make a donation to the High Flight Scholarship program, email us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
